OBSERVATION: Our studio is equipped with observation windows in all of the dance rooms so that you may view your child’s progress. However, if this becomes a distraction, we reserve the right to close the blinds. No parents are allowed in the dance rooms.
STUDENT ABSENCES: If your student is absent, make up classes are available. Please ask at the front desk for a suitable class. There are no refunds for missed classes.
BAD WEATHER POLICY: Please check the studio voice mail any time after 2:00pm to see if we are closed. We do not necessarily close because the schools in the surrounding area are closed. Often, by afternoon the roads are clear and we will be open.
ATTIRE:
--Pink Ballet slippers for all ballet classes
--Black Patent tap shoes for 3-8 year olds (ribbon ties must be replaced with a loop of elastic)
--Black jazz shoes for all jazz classes
--Tan jazz taps for all 9 year old & up tap classes
--Sneakers for all hip hop classes
A leotard and tights is required for all ballet classes, including preschool and combo classes. We do not have a color code. Dance attire of any type is acceptable for the other styles of dance. No street wear please!
WHERE TO PURCHASE DANCE WEAR: We supply a wide variety of clothing, shoes and equipment at the studio for your convenience. If we do not have what you need, we may be able to order it for you. Ask at the desk for local distributors and where to go for on line shopping.
CONFERENCES: We want to hear your concerns and compliments. If you like something, let us know. We will keep doing it! However, if you have a concern we also need to know. Please feel free to ask questions and make comments at the front desk. Do not delay another class by addressing the instructor. If an instructor needs to address the problem we will have them call you at a more convenient time.
