Recital

RECITAL COSTUMES:
     Each class will perform one dance in the recital, therefore needing one costume. Many of our costume companies require payment in full at the time of placing the order. We accept costume payments through November 1st. After that date we cannot guarantee that your child will receive a costume in time for the recital. No costume will be ordered without payment in full. Costume selection is based on age appropriateness, theme of the song and style of dance. We show the parents and students the costume selected for their class as soon as everyone’s costumes have been decided on. Costume payments are non-refundable, once the costume has been ordered.
     Costume cost is as follows. This includes sales tax but does not include the cost of the tights:

The fall/winter session runs September to June, culminating in an annual recital the first weekend in June. Because this production requires additional time and money (additional costs included costumes, tights, recital tickets, etc.) participation is encouraged but not mandatory.

TICKETS: Tickets are $9.75 each. If you are a dancer in the show or a volunteer, you do not need a ticket. Ticket order forms are mailed out the day after spring break and must be mailed back to the studio. All seats are reserved on a first come, first served basis. MORE INFORMATION: You will receive a recital handbook in April with more information about the dress rehearsal, pictures and recital.

TIGHTS: All tights for the recital must be purchased from the studio.This gives our dancers a professional stage appearance. Children’s tights are $8.50 plus tax and adult’s tights are $10.50 plus tax.

RECITAL MUSIC: The songs selected for the recital are often edited. If you would like a copy of the music so that your child can practice at home, we would be glad to make you a CD. We will need one week after your request to burn your CD. COST: $5.00 You are also allowed and encouraged to videotape the instructor doing the recital dance any time after the dance is started. You may not videotape any other part of our classes.
